About Me

Hello, there! Thanks so much for stopping by. I’m Veronica and I live in central Iowa with my husband Dave and our orange tabby Scrappy.

I love to create things and can’t remember a time when I wasn’t making things for my family and friends. I have an Etsy shop where I sell my handmade accessories. Take a look here if you’re interested. I also sell my goods in a few local shops. Among my many interests, some things I especially love doing are sewing and quilting, making jewelry, paper crafting, hand lettering, knitting, crocheting and cooking. I also have a serious fabric and TV addiction.

I was born in South Korea, but I’ve lived in Iowa practically my whole life. I really love the Midwest and can’t imagine living anywhere else (except during some brutally cold winters). I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in journalism and a double minor in Spanish and Design. Although I’m not putting my degree to use in my current job, I was an editor for the Better Homes & Gardens Creative Collection for three years and worked on several crafts magazines, including Scrapbooks, Etc.

I try to do something creative every day because it keeps me sane and makes each day more enjoyable. I love all things crafty and DIY so much that one of my sisters once called me the Asian Martha Stewart. There are so many things on my creative to-do list that I want to try. I hope you’ll join me on this creative journey.
